He got married to Edith Owens on the 24th June 1961, they both had 3 children Susan Plested, Jeanette Owens and Anthony Owens. Susan got married to David Plested and Anthony Married Debbie edwards. He also got 7 Grandchildren Jeanette Owens, Charlotte Owens, Vicky simkiss, Hyaley Owens, Simon Owens, Stepehn Plested and Charlie Owens.
